From jazz standards and polka to classic rock and the latest hits, Steve provides a wide range of musical experiences. As a solo musician or as a member of a band, Steve can satisfy all musical tastes with his piano, keyboard and accordion performances.  Skilled at providing Jewish and Klezmer music for events, he also plays for Christmas and private parties and entertains at restaurants and retirement communities.  Steve is also available as accompaniment for other performers.

ABOUT

A professional musician for over three decades, Steve Ormond plays a variety of instruments, specializing in the keyboard and accordion.  Originally the musical director of a melodrama/vaudeville theater, Steve’s musical career over the decades has included performances at the Edinburgh Theater Festival and involvement in a variety of bands playing classic rock, Latin, jazz, Dixieland and ragtime.  He performs regularly at a variety of venues and events.  During his thirty-two years of teaching for Los Angeles Unified Schools (now retired!), he used music daily in his classroom as a way of teaching all subjects.
